Air Traffic Back to Normal

No Delays So Far Today

BURBANK, Calif., October 28, 2003 – Air traffic control is back to normal today, eliminating the significant delays that occurred Sunday and Monday due to closure of the FAA’s Southern California air traffic control facility near San Diego caused by weekend firestorms.

Despite numerous delays yesterday, airlines completed nearly all scheduled flights.
