BURBANK, Calif., February 6, 2017 — Hollywood Burbank Airport staff and tenants
collectively raised over $13,000 for local charities during the 2016 holiday season. The Airport’s
Holiday Charity Committee, comprised of Airport staff, held luncheon fundraisers for the
Pasadena Police Activities League (PAL) as part of the Airport’s annual holiday charity drive,
while the Burbank Airport Firefighters Local I-61 union raised proceeds for the Disney Cancer
Center at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank. The union also collected toys for
the Spark of Love Toy Drive Fund, sponsored by ABC7 and Southern California Firefighters.

Airport officials will host an official ribbon-cutting ceremony for its newest concessionaire, Up, Pup, ‘N’ Away, offering unique gifts and accessories for dogs, cats and their human friends.  The concept is one of the first of its kind in the world of airport concessions.  This is Up, Pup, ‘N’ Away’s second retail location. Owner Marwick Kane also has a store on Magnolia Boulevard in Burbank, California.

Plug-In Electric Vehicle Charging Stations Installed at Hollywood Burbank Airport

BURBANK, Calif., October 3, 2016 — The Burbank Water and Power Department (BWP) installed three dual connector Siemens VersiCharge Level 2 Plug-In Electric Vehicle (PEV) charging stations in the Hollywood Burbank Airport’s Valet parking garage late last month. These charging stations are part of a Right of Entry Agreement that the Burbank-Glendale-Pasadena Airport Authority and the City of Burbank entered into in 2015. In addition to these charging stations, that agreement requires the City to install one Level 3 DC Fast Charge PEV charging station at the Airport.

TBI Airport Management Hires New Executive Director for Hollywood Burbank Airport

BURBANK, Calif., August 10, 2016 — The Burbank-Glendale-Pasadena Airport Authority is pleased to announce that Frank R. Miller, A.A.E., has accepted an offer from TBI Airport Management, Inc. (TBI), the Airport Authority’s management firm, to oversee day-to-day operations as the Executive Director of the Hollywood Burbank Airport. TBI is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Airports Worldwide. The Airport Authority Commission is scheduled to consider an official appointment on August 15. If the Airport Authority Commission affirms the appointment, Mr. Miller will assume the role of Executive Director on September 6.

Burbank City Council Approves Airport Replacement Terminal Project Subject to Voter Ratification, Schedules Measure B Vote for November 8, 2016

BURBANK, Calif., August 2, 2016 — On Monday, August 1, the Burbank City Council adopted an ordinance approving a development agreement and other matters related to the Burbank-Glendale-Pasadena Airport Authority’s replacement terminal project. The City of Burbank has now taken all of the discretionary actions required for the project.

Burbank City Council Votes in Favor of Replacement Terminal Project

BURBANK, Calif., July 27, 2016 — On Tuesday, July 26, the Burbank City Council voted 4-1 in favor of giving City of Burbank staff direction to schedule a Measure B election date for November 8, 2016, as the Burbank-Glendale-Pasadena Airport Authority had requested. The majority of City Council members and the Authority Commission believe that consolidating Measure B with the presidential election ballot on November 8 will put the replacement terminal project before the largest number of Burbank voters. The City of Burbank has scheduled an August 1 meeting to grant final approval and call for an election to put the agreement before Burbank voters.
