Airport-based Tax Valuation of $979.9 Million Tops List of Largest Properties in City, Resulting in $10.8 Million in Tax Revenue to City; Parking Tax, Sales Tax, School and Home Insulation Add to Total

BURBANK, Calif., June 9, 2006 — Newly released analysis compiled by the City of Burbank shows that an estimated $10.8 million in property taxes on assets based at Bob Hope Airport is paid to the City annually. The property taxes form the core of a wider roster of benefits totaling $22 million flowing either to the City or to Burbank residents.
