Bob Hope Airport Initiates Environmental Review for Proposed Regional Intermodal Transit Center

Project Would Link Airport with Rail Line, Buses, Rental Cars, Cabs and Shuttles While Reducing Street Traffic Congestion — Elevated, Covered Moving Sidewalk Would Link Center with Airport Terminal

BURBANK, Calif., May 18, 2009 — The Burbank-Glendale-Pasadena Airport Authority, owner and operator of Bob Hope Airport, has retained Ricondo and Associates for a fee of $94,450 to undertake the initial environmental review of a proposed regional intermodal transit center at the Airport that would provide access at a single point for air transport, Amtrak rail, Metrolink rail, buses, and rental cars to converge.
