Bob Hope Airport Begins First Pre-School Insulation Project Under Revised Noise Program

Burbank’s ABC School House Is First of Four New Schools Added to Eligibility List to Receive Acoustical Treatment

BURBANK, Calif., January 22, 2004 — Construction began this week to sound insulate a local pre-school as part of Bob Hope Airport’s Noise Compatibility Program.

ABC School House, a two-building pre-school located south of the Airport at 4102 and 4104 W. Victory Blvd., will undergo the $60,000 treatment between now and April. The pre-school will receive custom-designed acoustical double windows, solid-core exterior doors, attic insulation, and central heating and air conditioning. The contractor is Lexus Construction of Tarzana.
